It’s been a while since I’ve last written and not because I didn’t want too, but every time I’m about to start writing something comes up. So, we have a lot to catch up on.
I like to believe that I have the best Dad in the world. I know we’ve had our ups and downs, but I know in the long run that when I need him- he’s here. What a blessing! My favorite memories with my dad are all of the car rides that we’ve ever been on, long and short, that are just him and I. I guess you can say that my love language is Quality Time because those times for me are way more memorable than being on the court. We talk about everything from basketball, to life, love and just becoming a great mate overall. Dad, thank you for your time and love through my life. Everyday is technically Father’s Day, but to be able to celebrate you a little more today… Happy Father’s Day!!
Hanging with AC, Gary Brackett, Coach Vogel and Scotty at AC's Charity Golf Classic
I’m so proud of one of my Indy buddies, Anthony “AC” Calhoun. Over the years he has grown his Charity Golf Classic and helped give back to our Indianapolis Community from him just being a servant of God’s. When I’m in town, I always try to stop by to see the celebrities that love AC and continue to come out every year because of what he’s doing. AC, you are truly a Gem and I’m so thankful to have you as a friend.
Love this pic
Congrats to the 2014-2015 NBA Champions the Golden State Warriors!! I am super excited for the team and just the way they played through the championship stretch!! It was so fun to watch on all levels.
One of my heroes
We’re sitting on a 3-4 record after completing a whirlwind of a schedule with 5 games in 8 days. No wonder why I was so exhausted LOL. I’m always going to be proud of my team as we continue on our journey of getting better and really trying to create an identity for this year’s team. I know we have what it takes, but that doesn’t matter if the pieces don’t come together at the right time. Believe me when I say, “we are working hard to get there.” Everyday is a new day that brings new challenges. One cool thing I got to do while at MSG was take a picture honoring one of my heroes... Teresa Weatherspoon. Love ya Sis!!!
On the Town Broadway Show
We got to take a break for a bit in NY and check out the play “On the Town.” It was awesome because one of our close friends son was casted in the play (Cory Lingner) so I felt a personal connection to supporting him and truly enjoying my second Broadway play ever. So cool!!!
