Catching Stars, Racing Cars and a Media Frenzy : )

Our Indiana Fever pre-season officially ended today with our win against the Washington Mystics and I’m super excited about our team this year. It seems like our chemistry and just how we get along both on and off the court is amazing. I’m telling you if you have NOT been to an Indiana Fever game, you better get to one ASAP!! Regular season starts next Friday in Chicago against the Sky, and then we turn right back around and play against the Minnesota Lynx on Sunday. #BeThere

It’s time to get #CatchMeIfYouCan started for our 2015 season. The questions will be posted on our Facebook site all summer long 7 -10 days prior to the game for fans – new and old, to come check out a game. Only a limited number of tickets are available on a first come, first serve basis. AND, the answers have to be correct. Check out my Twitter or Instagram @catchin24 or my FB page to win tickets to next Saturday, June 6th game v the Minnesota Lynx.

2015 Catch the Stars Scholar Athlete Dinner

Last night was was an absolutely AMAZING night! We honored 38 local scholar athletes and selected Natalie Stephenson from Triton Central High School and Tyler Baker of Pike High School as our 2015 scholarship recipients. The night was highlighted by International best-selling author & speaker, Jon Gordon, our Fox-59 journalist who served as our event emcee, Nicole Pence, Shakur Smith, our Male recipient of the 2014 Catch the Stars scholarship and our wonderful Midnight Sanity Jazz Quartet . I also got honored during the VIP reception, as an official member of the Laureus Foundation with the one and only Edwin Moses presenting me with the official certificate of acceptance. With a line up like that, it’s hard to NOT have a great time!

My fam : )

I want to thank my big sis, Tauja, for all of the hard work that she puts into this dinner EVERY single year. And, of course, her team of people that helped to make this event a success. We all see the end product, but your dedication, persistence and vision help put all of us in place, and help make the event what it is : ) One of the best parts of tonight was celebrating with my family! My big brother, Kenyon, showed up to celebrate with Tauj, my nephews and I. Biggest smile ever!!!

2015 Indiana Fever

Media Day was a hit!! I don’t know why, but already this year feels different – in a good way. I can’t put my hand on it, but there’s something there : ) On and off the court, we can be ourselves and have fun doing it. Like I said before, if you haven’t been to a game- GET THERE A.S.A.P!!!

Indy 500 : )

So, you know my weeks are always full of fun and a lot of adventure. Prior to all of this fun stuff happening, the week kicked off at the Indy 500. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! This was my first time ever going, and I know it won’t be my last. For years, I have heard people talk about it and just how amazing it is being there, and now I know for myself : ) Thank you Jim Morris, Mark Miles and Allison Melangton for the invite and helping to make my first time so memorable.

Well, on to the next… coming up next week is lots of practice AND OFFICIAL the 2015 WNBA regular season. Our next event with Catch the Stars is our Chicago Road Trip team. If you don’t know what it is, check out and sign up.

I’m off to the grill… Until the next time! Best wishes and God Bless!
